[im thinking about how manwol's never gone to school before so this class is now the standard in which she'll judge other classes,
Manwol looks up from the passage that she's suppose to pronounce her judgement over, and instead leans over and pokes Rupert in the side with her pencil (eraser side up).]
Hey. [want some drugs rupert] Have you done any tasks yet?
[he makes a reflexive and very sharp noise of surprise when she pokes him, prompting the professor to stare his way! he waits until he's escaped attention before turning around to whisper to her.]
Oh, the dorm wars thing? No, not yet. Also, I feel like I should say that there are other ways to get people's attention.
[She looks a little amused for a moment -- and there's a static image of Luxanna and Dimitri and Otome looking similarly devastated, clearly apologizing to Manwol. ...She can see the similarities now.]
...I'm sorry that you were too, Rupert.
[...]
Can I ask you what you thought? When they told you?
[the image makes him pause for a second, reflexively thinking i hope they're okay, before he takes a breath. the question makes him pause, though, blinking.]
They...? Oh - right, I guess you probably wouldn't know. Well, uh, it was a little different for Otome and I. We didn't get the choice, since we were the first members after what happened to Kaoruko. It would have been really bad if we said no and there was nobody around to take care of it, obviously. I'm really glad it didn't keep happening like that beyond us two, though.
[but i wish that i at least had... stop, she might be able to hear you. he shakes his head as if to clear it before continuing on.]
But as for what I thought, I mean - it seemed pretty unreal at first, you know? We found out on a Monday, and I kept thinking that we would definitely figure out another way to handle this by Thursday. That we were going to make sure everything was fine.
...So Kaoruko and Hugo approached the both of you, and told you what was happening right then and there? They gave you that entire speech and then said that if you didn't do it, we would all die?
Oh, no, not quite. It was more, uh... We both got this vague email after Kaoruko died telling us to come to the classroom, but we didn't actually get an explanation until we were there and, uh, part of it by default. She didn't tell either of us anything beforehand.
...I don't really get it, either. I mean - I seem like a pretty poor choice all around, for a multitude of reasons? I'm interpreting that correctly, right? And Otome... She's way too nice for something like this, too.
It felt kind of weird to ask...? And I'm pretty sure the answer is just going to make me angrier, anyways. I'm already - not very happy about a lot of things, so! But I came to check on you, not complain.
Deal. ...I'll start by saying that I don't dislike any of you, but I think Dimitri and Lux could stand to be less stubborn. They're very frustrating to work with.
They're just so determined to punish themselves. It's not like what we're doing is right or anything, but it's not as wrong as they think it is. They can rely on us a little more.

It worked, didn’t it? And it's not like I can call you by your name. [there’s only two ways to get someone’s attention: yell their name or poke them.
She glances up and waits for Professor Schue’s attention to focus on another student, before leaning in a little further.]
Anyway, do one with me.

[he blinks, looking to manwol to the professor and back.]
...Sure, but - I mean, right now? Right at this moment?
no subject
[manwol's really skimming passages and saying 'GAY' as confidently as possible without reading a thing,]

[but he relents after a second, nodding.]
Which one did you want to do?

How about... how far would you go to reach your goal? And passing this class doesn't count.
w6, saturday.
It sounds pretty stupid to ask if you're alright, but...
no subject
Oh. That?
[she shakes her head]
I'm fine. I expected this the moment I accepted their offer.

You can check on me and complain at the same time. You have a right to.
[Especially now that I know.]
no subject
I'll complain if you do. Sound fair?

It sounds... frustrating. What did they do?
