jk she's outside, probably sitting under a tree and staring off into space. it's fine. she's been treated and bandaged. and she's technically resting even if it's not in her bed.]
Maya.
[... she can't exactly hide right now, so. she holds up a hand in greeting. she's tired, but you know. it's fine. everything is fine. haha. FINE.]
Manwol's feelings are just scorn. Scorn for the girl for having killed her classmate. Scorn for that girl's parents who only want to cover up her crime. So it's justice, in a way, that these parents ended up killing their daughter's soul.
Now that her soul is gone, that just leaves her body for the ghost who's currently possessing it. The ghost of the girl who was murdered, and had possessed her murderer in a fit of rage, now doomed to continue living in that body for the rest of her life. But that too, feels like justice. Everything has a price. She possessed her, and now she has to live with those consequences too.
[this is the funniest thing ever, let's say maya catches her on her way out of cosmetology school. Manwol's immediately surprised by the kabedon, oh my]
That was pretty forceful, Maya... I like it.
[look i know this is a platonic kabedon but this is alpha to alpha communication, she's proud]
She might find Manwol in a familiar spot. She's just looking up at the sky, like the first time they met weeks ago. She doesn't turn around, but she calls out to Maya all the same,]
...They could have compelled any of us to kill Otome.
[after the minievent and also the water contest probably, manwol will absolutely call maya out after so they can eat something yummy while completely nice and dry]
[ maya has taken a few painkillers herself, and steeled herself. she really, really, really doesn't want to do this, but.... this is how to save everyone. ]
[ she's the only one who can do this... especially after what manwol just went through, she has to ]
[ she sees manwol at the bakery, and... approaches. ]
[ even as she tries to act tough, a bit of her reluctance and fear slips through ]
[Manwol's clearly exhausted. She's leaning on the doorway of the bakery like she's not really processing what's there. Also she's in a new outfit ig (glances at all the details we planned before cyoa). She had to dress in a new outfit before they all went to bed before curfew, just in case. It turns out she prepared ahead.
She turns around once she feels Maya's presence though. And freezes.]
